"It's unbelievable that I have been in general practice nearly two decades…I can remember graduating from Guy's Hospital really clearly and my vocation has brought me many gifts….a greater understanding of people, their likes and dislikes, how they wish to be treated the ability to lead a team of dedicated professionals, the joy and pain of running my own practice and mostly the ability to improve peoples health and the quality of their life, through the skills I have acquired over that time.

One of my great memories of those early years after qualifying is the time I spent providing dental care for refugee children in a Jewish school in Israel. This married my two great loves, the love of working with my hands and my passion for travel and understanding people from different cultures.

Outside the boutique, I love adventure travel and have travelled extensively. Recently, I narrowly escaped a helicopter rescue when I found myself stranded on top of a mountain, trekking in Turkey. The story had a happy ending, despite the cuts and bruises I incurred whilst sliding and abseiling down the mountain to join the track!

My other passions are photography, Egyptian and Bollywood dance and long country walks (on the proviso, that there’s a pub at the end of it!)."
