“Since I can remember, I have always had a thirst for knowledge and a drive to succeed at whatever I put my mind to. I remember my vocational trainer (Dr D S Kooner, a man I shall eternally be grateful too!) encouraging me to undertake specialist training in Orthodontics and having taken his advice, I’ve never looked back.
I am very passionate about improving smiles and the quality of my patients’ lives through my work. Whatever the age or dental concern - if its crooked teeth, gaps, spaced teeth or overlapping teeth, nothing gives me a greater ‘buzz’ than knowing that I have helped to change someone’s smile and confidence. Restoring even the most complex of dental problems is something that I relish. I get very excited about the new technologies that are available and eagerly await the release of a new type of brace so that my patients can benefit from the latest techniques, reduced treatment times and happier, healthier, smiles, which sometimes happen within a space of weeks!
My time outside of work is spent with my gorgeous wife and family. I have also spent time volunteering as a dentist in a number of regions in India. I love traveling, cooking, playing a number of racquet sports and golf…but my real passion is singing. My claim to fame is that I have sung at the Royal Albert Hall. In fact, when being interviewed for this role, Sunita and Kavita both asked me to sing! Not one to be backwards in coming forwards, I belted out a number which I’m sure clinched it! Watch out X-Factor…here I come!”
