Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are thin shells of porcelain which are made to fit over the front surface of a tooth. Like false fingernails, porcelain veneers are bonded to the front surface of the tooth with the unique ability to completely mask unattractive stains while letting light through to appear entirely natural.

The procedure takes two appointments. At the first appointment, we shape your teeth as carefully and conservatively as possible and take a mould of the teeth to be veneered. Hand crafted temporary veneers are then placed on your teeth whilst your final veneers are being made. This allows you to 'trial' your new smile so that you can experience how your new smile will look and feel. If you want any changes with the shape or size at this stage, we are able to make any adjustments so that you’re completely satisfied.

About 7 days later at your second appointment, your meticulously custom made porcelain veneers are fitted. Up close you will notice the use of superior quality materials, variation in colours and translucency which all give you a natural looking smile.

With proper oral hygiene, your porcelain veneers can last from 10 to 15 years.
