Hardip qualified as a dental hygienist from the University of Cardiff in 2007.
While dentists concentrate on treating tooth and gum conditions, Hardip plays a vital role in helping to prevent problems from arising.
Hardip performs procedures including professional cleaning known as prophylaxis, scaling and root planing for patients with periodontal disease, taking of prescribed radiographs, placing dental sealants, administration of fluoride, and providing instructions for proper oral hygiene and care.
In addition, to helping maintain a healthy mouth, Hardip takes particular care of patients who are having dental implants, cosmetic procedures and orthodontic (braces) treatment.
Having attended the "Smiles by James" Teeth Whitening Training Course on both power and home whitening, Hardip is able to carry out most teeth whitening procedures at Sparkle.
"I see the mouth as a doorway to the health of the whole body. Many studies have shown a potential link between the presence of gum disease and the development of diabetes, heart disease, strokes and premature births. I am therefore very passionate about promoting good oral hygiene and motivating patients to keep their mouths healthy and their teeth for longer".
