The third and final trip to the dentist is when the permanent veneers are attached or ‘bonded’ to the tooth, usually around two weeks after the second visit. A cement is bonded to the tooth and veneers, after which a special light is use to activate the chemicals within the cement, to quickly harden it to the enamel of the tooth.
